Walkinstown (Baile Bhailcin in Irish) is a suburb in the city of Dublin, Ireland, approximately 6 kilometres south-west of Dublin city centre. Walkinstown is bordered on the east by Crumlin, on the north by Drimnagh, and Bluebell, on the south by Greenhills and Ballymount, and on the west by Clondalkin.
A suburb of mostly private residential housing, it also home to an amalgem of light industry, warehousing, car dealerships, and commercial outlets. These are concentrated along the Long Mile Road.
Walkinstown is under the administration of Dublin City Council and is in Dublin South Central Dail constituency. The postal code is Dublin 12.
